Simple Arrabbiata Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 28.2 oz can whole peeled tomatoes

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • Chopped Calabrian chiles

  • Handful chopped parsley

  • Basil to garnish

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat

  2. Add the garlic and chiles, and cook until the garlic is browned and it starts to smell strongly




3. Add the whole peeled tomatoes to a large bowl, and crush using a fork. Then add to the saucepan.

4. Simmer until desired consistency is reached. Turn off the heat, and add a handful of chopped parsley.



5. Serve with pasta, basil leaves, and freshly grated parmesan
