Total Time:
15 Minutes + Grill Heating
Serves:
6-8
Ingredients:
3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
2 Cups Frog Sauce
Yardbird Rub
To start this off, I just want to go over a couple of the ingredients. I have tested lots of different types of spice rubs, as well as BBQ sauces, and I have found yardbird rub and frog sauce to be the best. I have made this recipe without them, and it doesn't turn out quite the same. They have both won lots of awards, and I would strongly recommend you buy them.

Okay, onto the recipe!
Step 1: Prepare your Chicken
Remove the chicken breast from any packaging, and place it on a cutting board. Cut them so they are a somewhat uniform size and shape.
Step 2: Season your Chicken
Use lots of Yardbird rub. And when I say lots, I mean lots! Pour a lot of rub on the first side of the chicken, and you can rub the other side in excess that falls onto the cutting board.
Note: If you don't like things spicy, maybe go a bit lighter on the rub. Sometimes it is a little spicy if you add a lot of it.
Step 3: Heat the grill
Start a small flame on the grill, and once it is at 350 degrees Fahrenheit you are ready for your next step. I grill on a Big Green Egg, and it has been working super well for me, so if you don't have one I would really recommend it. It can be used for grilling, smoking, and a lot of other things as well.
Step 4: Start Grilling
Put the heavily-seasoned chicken onto the grill, and then shut the top. Let it grill for about 4 or 5 minutes until the bottom of it is nice and charred. Then flip the chicken, and repeat on the other side.
Look at that sear! I can already tell it is going to have a really smokey flavor.
Step 5: Apply the Sauce
Remove all the chicken from the grill, and lather it in barbecue sauce. The reason there is more chicken in this photo is because I was only showing the first batch in the other photos. Trust me, you want as much frog sauce as the chicken can hold.
Step 6:
Place the chicken back on the grill one last time, so they are evenly heated. Remove them, and serve. Enjoy!
Best chicken ever!
